The Road to Muddy Gap
Carbon County is a wonderful documentary project by John Sanderson capturing its landscape and people in raw and authentic photographs tipped into letterpress boards.
Wyoming’s windswept high plains and distant horizons, this folio box and its accompanying booklet are inspired from Edgar Lee Masters’ Spoon River Anthology, and Thornton Wilder’s Our Town, Sanderson envisions a mysterious county abound with adventure, hope, love, and wanderlust.
The limited folio box comes in an edition of only 50. Publishing a photography project is an incredibly expensive endeavor and this is why John Sanderson and Zatara Press are turning to the Kickstarter community to ask for your help.
